Therapy for young adults, adults, & families in Greenville/Simpsonville, SC
Therapy for the person who holds it all together.
You may look capable on the outside—but internally feel anxious, burnt out, disconnected, or weighed down by family stress. Therapy can help you feel more grounded, supported, and like yourself again.
Do you wake up already feeling overwhelmed—like your mind is running before you even are?
Like there’s no real starting point to your day, just immediate stress, anxiety, and mental overload.
It can start to feel like different parts of you are pulling in different directions. One part trying to stay on top of everything, another pushing you to keep going and hold it all together, and another that feels exhausted, anxious, or shut down. And underneath all of that, there’s often a deeper disconnection from yourself that’s hard to name.
You’re tired in a way that rest doesn’t fix. You’re functioning, managing, and coping—but not really feeling like yourself.
This is often what burnout, high-functioning anxiety, and chronic stress look like internally: a nervous system stuck in survival mode, protective parts working overtime just to get you through the day, and a growing distance from your own steadiness and clarity.
You might miss the version of you who felt more grounded and connected, and even though you’ve tried to rest, reset, or push through it, things still feel stuck.
It can start to feel like life is happening around you while you’re just trying to keep up.
If you’re here, you may be seeking therapy in Greenville, SC for anxiety, burnout, or emotional overwhelm. You’re wanting:

MEET JACQUELINE SASSO, MMFT, LMFT
Hi, I’m Jacqueline.
I’m a therapist in Simpsonville/Greenville, SC, and I work with individuals navigating anxiety, burnout, high-functioning stress, major life transitions, and feeling disconnected from themselves. I also support athletes and high performers who feel pressure, loss of passion, or anxiety around their sport or performance.
A lot of the people I work with don’t feel like they’re in crisis—they feel like they’re holding too much for too long. Functioning on the outside, but exhausted on the inside. Overthinking, overextending, and quietly wondering how things got to feel this heavy.
This work is rooted in the belief that healing is possible when we slow down enough to actually listen to what’s happening internally—not just push through it.
Together, we can begin to make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface and create more space for steadiness, clarity, and relief.
If you’re ready to…
feel less controlled by anxiety, overthinking, or constant stress
recover from burnout and reconnect with energy and motivation in your work and life
feel more confident and grounded in the decisions you’re making for your future
rebuild a sense of meaning, joy, and connection in your sport or performance
navigate difficult family dynamics with more clarity and emotional steadiness
you’re in the right place.
You don’t have to keep carrying all of this alone. Therapy can be a space to slow down, understand what’s happening internally, and begin to feel more like yourself again.
If you’re ready, I’d be honored to work alongside you.
