I bring a solution-focused mindset to our sessions, helping you explore your strengths and resources to overcome obstacles. Additionally, I incorporate somatic techniques to address the mind-body connection, trauma-informed care to ensure your safety and comfort, and a systemic perspective to understand how various aspects of your life intersect.
What sets me apart is my holistic approach, blending empathy, expertise, and a focus on the mind-body connection. I create a safe space for healing, integrating somatic techniques and trauma-informed care. My systemic perspective considers the broader context of clients' lives. With a solution-focused mindset, I empower clients to achieve their goals and thrive.
My journey into therapy began with a
natural inclination to listen and support others.
As a student volunteer with Camp Kesem during my undergraduate career, I witnessed the profound impact of helping people through challenging times. It became clear to me that becoming a therapist would allow me to continue making a difference in people's lives, particularly during moments of vulnerability.
My own experiences with struggles and the support I received from my therapist and community further solidified my path towards becoming a therapist. These moments of support were pivotal in shaping who I am today. I recognize that everyone experiences trauma differently and that it can manifest in various ways, often impacting generational cycles.
In addition to trauma, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate anxiety, sports related anxiety, stress, burnout, and challenging family dynamics. These experiences are universal and can profoundly affect our well-being. I believe in taking a systemic approach to therapy, considering the broader context of clients' lives, including family dynamics, cultural influences, and societal factors.
My goal as a therapist is to help clients understand and heal from trauma, stress, burnout, and grief, fostering healthier patterns of living and communication. Relationship-building has always been important to me, and I deeply value the therapist-client connection. Each client's journey is unique, and it's a privilege to support them along the way.
